Inline Stainless Steel Screen with 2 inch BSP sockets

Part Number LS200-000F

Description

Stainless steel insect and rodent screen with cylindrical body and 2 inch BSP sockets at both ends

This is one of a range of inline plastic screens with female BSP connections in sizes from ¾ inch to 3 inches.

Positioning

The screen is rated to ½ bar. Do not mount it more than 1 metre vertically below the highest point of the overflow pipe.

The screen can be mounted in any orientation, provided that the water flow is in the direction indicated on the label.

The screen is not designed as a structural element. The pipework must be adequately supported, so that no load is transmitted to the screen body.

Fitting

The screen is designed to have a 2 inch male BSP threaded pipe screwed into each end. Both ends have a right hand thread so it will be necessary to rotate at least one of the sections of pipe to connect the screen. If this is not possible, a rotating union should be used to connect to one of the pipes.

Ensure that the screen can be removed for occasional servicing. We recommend that it is removed and cleaned at least once every year.

Please note, we cannot supply any of the BSP threaded fittings referred to in this section.
